Cherry Ham Glaze

Cherry Ham Glaze

2 cups cherry preserves
1/2 cup red wine (I used a cabernet sauvignon)
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 tap ground allspice

Stir all ingredients together in a medium saucepan. Place over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Reduce to low, stirring often until glaze thickens, about 10 minutes. Slather ham in last 30 minutes of ham cooking time. Reserve most of the glaze to drizzle over the ham when you serve.
